Accreditation

The Medical College of Wisconsin is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation of Credit

The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this educational activity for a maximum of 18.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Additional Digital and MRI credits may be obtained by attending the Digital and MRI Guided-Biopsy Workshops.

The following is the breakdown of the daily AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ you are able to receive: Thursday 7.5 credits, Friday 6.5 credits and Saturday 4.25 credits.  Participation in the Digital Training Workshop offers 1.0 credit.  Participation in the MRI Guided-Biopsy Workshop offers a total of 1.0 credit.

The conference is pending Category A approval by ASRT.

Ultrasound-Guided Breast Biopsy Accreditation Program

Attendance at the appropriate sessions of this conference will enable physicians and technologists to fulfill 4.5 credits toward the ACR triennium requirement.

Digital Accreditation Program

Attendance at the appropriate sessions of this conference will enable physicians and technologists to fulfill 2.5 credits toward the FDA triennium requirement.  An additional digital credit will be available for those who attend the Digital Workshop.

MRI Accreditation Program

Attendance at the appropriate sessions of this conference will enable physicians and technologists to fulfill 6 credits toward the ACR triennium requirement.  An additional MRI credit will be available for those who attend the MRI Workshop.

Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Accreditation Program

Attendance at the appropriate sessions of this conference will enable physicians and technologists to fulfill 2 of the 3 credits per triennium ACR requirement.

Mammography Quality Standards Act

Documentation of your participation at BIC can be used by interpreting physicians and techs to fulfill the 15 credits per triennium MQSA continuing education requirement.
